Just as the independent filmmaking artists of the world struggle to bring their visions to cinematic life, MICRO-FILM swims valiantly against the mainstream to tell their stories. Interviews, features, reviews, analysis, and commentary give these mavericks and their movies a modest pedestal and a fair shake. Since 1999, MICRO-FILM truly has been independent press for independent cinema.

C-U Blogfidential, its companion print digest, C-U Confidential, and its companion mailing list, The CineMicroGraph, cover the history of film and filmmaking in downstate Illinois. They provide an ever-growing information base that local and visiting filmmakers can use to augment their production, exhibition, and promotion needs.

Early each morning, our small staff of bakers create a selection of pastries and bread from scratch. The breads we bake have a wonderfully crisp crust and a soft chewy crumb because it is baked in a very special oven. Our pastries are superb because they contain quality ingredients. We spare no expense at creating luscious cakes and tarts which are works of art.
We are the last locally owned and operated video store in the Champaign-Urbana / University of Illinois area. That's Rentertainment caters to film fans (and fanatics) who have grown tired of the typical Blockbuster fare. We specialize in international, independent, classic American and Art House films on DVD (with a handful of VHS tapes left over that have never been released on DVD).
Special thanks to the City of Urbana's Public Arts Program, whose grant support has allowed us to bring new attention to the festival this year.
